This document details the General Terms and Conditions of Vila Catarina Luxury Apartments, addressing several important aspects for guests wishing to make a reservation and use the services offered. Here are the main points covered:
Reservations
- Can be made via the website, telephone, email or platforms such as Booking, Airbnb and Expedia.
- Minimum stay of two nights, subject to change.
- The booking is confirmed once full payment has been made online. Otherwise, it will be cancelled.
Payment and cancellation
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Paypal and bank transfer are accepted.
- Payment and cancellation conditions vary according to the rate chosen.
- Cancellations made up to 8 days before check-in guarantee a full refund; within the previous 7 days, 30% of the total amount will be charged.
- If the guest does not show up on the day of booking, it is considered a “no-show” and the full stay will be charged.
- Guests who have already settled in can interrupt their stay, without the right to a refund.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in: 15:00; Check-out: 11:00.
- Early Check-in or late check-out are subject to availability.
Reception hours are from 9:00 to 17:30. As Vila Catarina Luxury Apartments does not have a 24-hour reception service, please inform us in advance of your expected time of arrival.
- Guests must present identification (ID card or passport) at check-in.
- At check-in, guests will receive keys and an access card which must be returned at check-out. If they lose their key or card, they should go to the reception and report it immediately, and the value of the key will be charged to the guest.
- On the check-out date, the Guest must leave the room free of people and goods and without any damage by 11 am.
Additional information:
- Only the people indicated on the reservation may occupy the apartment. In the event of more people arriving than stipulated in the reservation, their entry may be refused without refund.
- Temporary visits require the consent of management.
- You must always be informed of the inclusion of children in your reservation. Confirmation of crib placement may be subject to the number of cribs available.
- Children under the age of 14 must be always supervised by an adult during their stay at Vila Catarina Luxury Apartments.
- Common areas must be used responsibly.
- The Guest must always close the access doors to the building, the bedroom door and make sure they are properly closed, as well as wait for the garage gates to close.
- Guests are responsible for damage, breakages and theft.
- Pets are prohibited.
- The staff can access the apartment for cleaning and repairs.
Cleaning Service
- Daily cleaning for stays of up to 4 nights.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, there is daily cleaning and an intermediate cleaning every 3 days.
- Towels are changed during intermediate cleaning.
Guest Rights and Duties
Rights
- Designation of a reference professional to turn to for help or guidance.
- Confidentiality of personal data.
- Daily cleaning and free Wi-Fi.
Duties
- Respect rules and employees.
- Report problems observed.
- Use the facilities properly.
Safety rules
- No use of candles or smoking on the premises.
- It is forbidden to carry any weapon or sharp instrument.
- Silence between 11pm and 7am so as not to disturb other guests, in accordance with the General Noise Regulations.
Damage and loss to the property
- The guest must compensate for any damage caused.
- Vila Catarina Luxury Apartments is not responsible for the loss of personal property.
Complaints
- The complaints book is available at reception.
- Complaints should be forwarded to management for resolution.
Penalty clause
- In the event of a delay in handing over the keys and card, a fine of €100.00 will be charged for each day of delay, in addition to the nightly rate.
